OpenELIS Global is stewarded by the Digital Initiatives Group at The International Training and Education Center for Health (I-TECH). I-TECH is a center in the University of Washington’s Department of Global Health.
Casey Iiams-Hauser
Project Manager, UW I-TECH
Casey leads the DIGI team’s technical contributions to OpenELIS project. He serves the role of product owner ensuring the project remains on track while also providing technical assistance to the team in design, development and testing, as well as installation and deployment. Casey has been managing OpenELIS since 2012. He speaks French. He holds his Master of International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
Greg Rossum
Senior Software Developer UW I-TECH
Greg is an integral part if the DIGI team by providing expertise and analysis on software development and implementation. He has worked on multiple health informatics programs across several country programs at I-TECH, including Haiti, Botswana, Namibia and Cote d’Ivoire. Most recently, he has led the effort to convert the OpenELIS Java framework from Struts I to Spring. He will be the primary software engineer for the upgrades to the OpenELIS technology stack for Phase 3 of this project as well as the installation of the new version on the CDC infrastructure. He holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary.
Caleb Steele-Lane

Originally from Whitehorse, Yukon I moved away from the far north to the not so far north and started attending the University of Calgary for Computer Science with a specialization in Information Security. Since graduating, I have moved to Vancouver, British Columbia where I get to easily take advantage of Canada’s great outdoors while not giving up the amenities of a world class city.
Carli Rogosin
Digital Health Specialist
Carli Rogosin has worked in international public health and development since 2001 in countries including Haiti, Botswana, Ethiopia, Honduras, Tanzania, South Africa, and Côte d’Ivoire. She began working in digital health doing training, testing, design, and project implementation in 2012.
Paul Henri Assoa

Paul joined the ITECH Cote divoire team in 2013 as IT support and junior developer working in OpenELIS code on features and plugins. he have a master in mathematics and a computer science ingenior degree specialization in software development got at National university of Abidjan in Cote d’ivoire. he leads OpenELIS implementation in Cote d’Ivoire.
Pascal Komena
Senior Lab Informatics Manager, CDC Cote d’Ivoire
Originally from the center of the Ivory Coast, I was rather attracted by the computer science profession. So after obtaining my bachelor’s degree, I opted for computer science in a High School where I obtained a degree in Application Development and Information Systems. After graduation, I spent a few years teaching computer courses and today I still have the chance to practice in the same field in the capital. I am calm in nature and I love nature.
